    Description
    Product Overview:
Acts as a thermal barrier and significantly reduces heating loss to the substrate. Transforms undertile heating into a very responsive and effiient system.
After switching on your heating, your floor tiles will warm up in about 15-20 minutes, even on a cold concret floor.
On wooden floor, it has a 2 degree increase every 10 minutes from start up.
LUX insulation board can be reduce sound by 20 decibels. Can replace tile and slate underlay, providing the sub-floor is structurally sound and flat.
The board is supplied in thickness ranging from 6mm to 50mm depending on the floor thresholds and your budget.

    Why choose us:
When choosing the thickness of the boards most suitable for your installation you should consider a number of factors. Firstly, the build height that you have available to you may limit you to, for example, a maximum board thickness of 6mm. Additionally, if you are using the boards to secure a wooden base you should always use 10mm thick board. If, however, you have the available build height we would recommend using 20mm insulation boards as these provide a very good tradeoff between cost and insulation efficiency providing a U Value(W/m2k) of 1.35. Our 10mm board has a U Value of 2.70 and our 6mm board a U Value of 4.50. The board should be fully secured to the base using a full bed of suitablt flexible tile adhesive or screwed into position on wooden based with the aid of metal fixing washers.Reinforcement tape should be used when laying the boards to provide a secure joint beneath separate panels.
